Originally from Oklahoma, Hermanson now lives in Massachusetts and received her MFA in Illustration from FIT. Her inky scratchboard drawings can be seen worldwide—on book covers, gin bottles, and theater posters. A book of illustrations and poetry, created in collaboration with her partner, Margot, will be published this year.
