Detroit-bred Sydney James began her career as an art director after earning her BFA from the College of Creative Studies in 2001. In 2004, she relocated to Los Angeles to expand her career as a visual artist, and in 2011 she returned to Detroit. She has become one of the leading creative change agents in the city.
