Gail Anderson has art directed illustrators for over 30 years at Visual Arts Press at the School of Visual Arts, Rolling Stone magazine, and The Boston Globe Sunday Magazine, as well as for Broadway, institutional, and regional theater at SpotCo. She teaches at SVA and serves on the Citizens’ Stamp Advisory Committee for the US Postal Service. Anderson is an AIGA Medalist and is the 2018 recipient of the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Lifetime Achievement Award for Design.
